Research vs. Innovation Lab

Research includes formal programs with defined research questions and systematic exploration. The Innovation Lab is broader—exploring future technologies and experimental ideas that may or may not become formal research.

Research is hypothesis-driven exploration. Projects are engineering work and deliverables. A research initiative may eventually lead to a project.
